POWER BARRELS…….HOW IT WORKS |
| Power Barrels is a nationwide sidepot involving at least two events competing at different locations. These events may occur |
| simultaneously on the same weekend, or on adjoining weekends to form a competition "group". |
| The added money comes from each producer paying a $100 approval fee, so there will be $200, $300, $400, etc. |
| added, depending on the number of approvals for that particular group. The events must be a 2 run format. |
| The entry fee is $20, and covers both runs. $15 is jackpotted, $4 goes to the producer, and Power Barrels keeps $1 for |
| administrative purposes. So, each producer securing at least 25 Power Barrels entries at their race will cover their |
| approval fee, and make $4 profit from each additional entry. |
| Power Barrels will contribute $50 bonus added money to any competition group with 250 or more entries. |
| At each location, points will be awarded to the first 15 places (must be same horse/rider combination) |
| in each division based on a 5D format with 1/2 second splits. Points are only awarded to Power Barrels entrants, |
| so the winner of the 1D may or may not be the same person who wins the barrel race. First place will receive |
| 15 points, down to 1 point for 15th place. Once all points are tabulated for EACH LOCATION, the 2 day totals |
| for each horse/rider combo will be combined by division with the other locations, and Power Barrels will determine |
| the overall horse/rider high point winners for the weekend and payout the POWER BARRELS jackpot accordingly. |

| GOAL: To create a large jackpot and give contestants a chance to compete against contestants all across the country, |
| competing at different locations while conserving their travel funds. Ultimately, the goal is to create a sidepot that pays |
| just as good or better than the location the contestant is competing at without spending additional funds on fuel - |
| ALL FOR JUST $20!!! |
